Y2Tribe recognises Aboriginal Peoples and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and seas throughout Australia. We acknowledge their connection to country and their ownerships as Australia’s First Nation Peoples. We acknowledge the Elders both past and present and their contribution to the well-being to First Nation Peoples.

About Us

Over many years of grass roots work in the community, the tribe has witnessed our children, youth and adults experience personal disappointment rather than achievement. They are failing to reach their full potential. How is this possible? What’s missing? We believe it is a lack of connection and belonging to a community which we call a tribe.

Connection creates trust, this creates belief and belonging that creates sustainable supported change. We all need a community to trust in and to be available where possible.

The Y2Tribe creates a sense of belonging and a safe space to trust. We help Create opportunities for Connection to happen. We believe it takes a diverse range of people to become part of a tribe along with the wider village (Community organisations, programs, services, church groups sporting groups and other relevant supports)

Community Connectors fosters meaningful relationships between individuals and local resources through personalised support and guidance, enhancing communal engagement and support systems.

The 'Schools Programs' service provides customised educational initiatives and resources tailored for schools, aiming to enhance learning experiences for students through engaging and enriching activities and programs. The Team also are able to provide lunchtime and special wellbeing pop up engagements.

Training and workshops

Our Director has 20 years of extensive experience and knowledge around youth work, Community Development, best practice and Intentional Connective strategies. The Y2Tribe team also bring along valued background and experience which we see as a real asset in supporting families and young people in the community. We can also offer some brief targeted training sessions to teams, staff, groups or workers in regards to useful strategies around connections and communication enhancing the work they already do. (This is a fee for service training please enquire by contacting us)
